  @DoctorG I never received a message saying it was closed so I did not know what the status was. I also could not find information on how to resolve the issue (everything I found was related to opening the sessions panel, which I could not get to open via keyboard shortcut and couldn't locate it otherwise). All good, Pesala's response worked for me.

  I'm new to Vivaldi and I really appreciate its flexibility.
  The only thing I really miss from Chrome is this button:

  If I am in a normal tab and I want to switch rapidly to an already open private tab, or the other way around, in Vivaldi I have to tap on the tab switcher button, then tap on private icon, then tap on the private tab (even if there is only a private tab open).
  In Chrome I only have to tap that button and I immediately land on the private tab.
  Brave also has the same button with the same funcionality.

  Vivaldi is based on chromium which is open source most pushed code comes from google directly , making a browser from scratch is a GIANT task , theres basicly only Safari ( apple ) , Firefox ( Mozilla ) , and Chromium ( google ) , Theres a entirely new one in the works ( Ladybird ) Roughly 2026 Dev Build Release.

  Vivaldi and most companys simply dont have the funding or time to develope Multiple YEARS a new Webbrowser from the ground up.

  @DoctorG i mean wireshark again just talks about network related data , i talk about data which browsers leak , which can be easily tested by tracking test websites , id websites , fingerprint websites , or tests which https://privacytests.org/ offers , but theres many websites which show which data leaks from the browser

  mind you it says unique fingerprint for brave but it changes fingerprint each browser restart entirely.

  Like alone that WebRTC is enabled by default is a huge privacy nightmare for browsers because webRTC can circumvent proxys / vpns by leaking the local IP if you want something network related , and no i never found a website in the last 8 years which was broken with disabled web RTC.
