  Hi all,

  I've been encountering a recurring issue with Vivaldi on Windows that I wanted to bring up in case others are experiencing the same, or if there's a known fix.

  Whenever I try to copy or paste a large amount of text (for example, several pages of content or large code snippets) into Vivaldi—whether it's in a web-based editor, form field —the browser freezes up completely. The only way to recover is to close the affected tab.

  Here are some details:

  Operating System: Windows (latest updates installed)
  Vivaldi Version: [7.4.3684.38 (Stable channel) (64-bit)]
  Extensions: Tried with and without extensions
  Tried creating a new user profile: Issue still persists (tried on Microsoft loop)
  No similar issue in other browsers: Tested in Chrome, Firefox, and Edge without problems
  This seems like a performance issue possibly related to clipboard handling or memory usage. Has anyone else seen this behaviour? Any suggestions or workarounds would be appreciated.

  Hi, the Vivaldi team doesn't remove flags, the Chromium developers does.
  Dark pages and UI follow system are two different settings, just enable dark pages.
  I use a dark Android UI but hate dark pages, all fine for me.

  Hi , i have a Lynk@co 01 model 2021 and i have this browser .work ok when the car is stationary ...
  Could be add some settings to show the content of Home Assistant also if you drive the car . THX!
  Also I can see the security camera , but only when the machine is not running ....

  I think that many users misunderstand the concept of privacy. Any browser "Phone home" to verify the functionality, to see if there are updates, etc, also share technical data to the web pages so that they are displayed correctly. But this has nothing to do with privacy. "Oh, horror, Vivaldi share my Screen resolution, that I'm from Spain to show the page in my lenguage, that Im using an PC and not a Mobile to show the page in the correct format...." data which are the same for dozends of millons of other users.

  Very different when the company of the browser logs the activity of the user for profiling and sell this personal data to third parties, this is what Vivaldi does not do at all.

  Everything else depends on the user himself, of the search engine used, the data he published on the network, the TOS and PP of the services he use....his common sense. Vivaldi is as private as the user wants, period.
